Conservative Round up from Palin Smith

Greetings Patriots:
We've been distracted and extremely busy helping several campaigns the past two months. We were forced to suspend the newsletter.

We could not keep up with the fast-paced changes in the political landscape in CT. This notice is about a single event.

Congressman John Larson is hosting a town hall meeting Sunday evening from 5 PM to 7 PM. The subject is IRAQ. The meeting is in the West Hartford Town Hall.

Larson's public meetings are always highly emotional and contentious. We will be there to record the event.

This is your opportunity to tell a US Congressman what you feel about President Obama. The impeachment of the traitor-in-chief is imminent only if enough pressure is brought to bear on the House of Representatives.

Any American must be incensed with Obama's foreign policy debacles. The Invasion Obama has been promoting on the southern border is allowing child abuse and disease to flood into America. Tell Larson what you think and I will make sure the country hears you.

"One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors." - Plato

Palin Smith

PS. I regretfully inform you that the Dump Dodd-mobile kicked the bucket on Wednesday. My new vehicle is a 4-door very comfortable sedan. I now have room for three passengers. If you wish to travel to West Hartford in the new "Anti-Common Core-mobile( new name under consideration), please respond. First come basis.
Along the route from Woodbury on I-84.

Conservative Round Up: Who is Palin Smith & Why You Should Care

Palin Smith, photo credit Chris Lemos
He drives a slick yellow car, sports a stylish white mustache, a red & black baseball cape, and has a video camera permanently attached to one hand. If you happen to be at a rally, speaking engagement, or town hall meeting, and you see this guy standing in the back, and you are a conservative, jump for joy. If you voted for Obama last cycle, run for cover, because this is the guy who played a key role in bringing the "Overpasses to Impeach Obama" to your neighborhood.

His moniker is Palin Smith and he is the conservative activist, gadfly, cheerleader, videographer, citizen journalist, unflappable one- man conservative campaign powerhouse of a force you want on your side!

At the capital, Fernandez
 tries out his opponents seat.
Palin, as he told the Press in April, calls himself "patriot recruiter" or "incumbent terminator." Or in the case of Sen. John McKinney, he is your worst nightmare. Having been to all 169 towns in Ct and photographed there with a "McKinney Must Go" sign, Palin is one to watch leading the charge for right leaning folks to reform the GOP and kick Rhinos out on their butts. Palin lead the successful "Dump Dodd" movement in 2009. Palin was also a force in helping to lay the foundation for the CT Tea Party.Today Palin, is leading the charge again with getting McKinney out of office due to his failure to listen to gun owners on key legislative votes that crack down on law abiding citizen fire arm owners in the nutmeg state.  And of course just as we are typing this article, it seems we are too late- we have been beaten to the punch spreading the wonders of Palin Smith aka Chris Ford- listen to the podcast on CT360 with  journalist Dan Lovallo interviewing Palin on his impact on the political landscape of Connecticut. http://cttalking.com/podcasts/35/

Joe Visconti & Angel Fernandez,

This election cycle, it appears Palin is dedicating much of his efforts to helping the campaign of Joe Visconti for Governor and  AR Fernandez (Angel Fernandez) for the 100th District in Middletown.  Not only did Joe Visconti once ride up to a townhall meeting on horseback Paul Revere style, but he may be a different kind of trailblazer should he get enough signatures to petition his way onto the ballot as a Independent this fall after failing to gain the 8,000+ signatures to run on the Republican ticket.
And what is so special about a Palin Smith endorsement? He never endorses a sleeper candidate; if you are a favorite of Palin, you're not only a true conservative, but got fire & tenacity in excess.
In Palin's words: " Visconti is rewriting the playbook in 2014. His three-pronged approach includes small businesses serving as hubs for people to go to to sign in."http://youtu.be/663q6IbexV8
Palin tapped Visconti "welcoming" Gov. Malloy home to the governors mansion in March as his own campaign announcement.
Palin, a CCDL member, is a
advocate for gun owner rights &
 Pro 2A legislation in CT
If you don't have Palin's youtube channel bookmarked, you oughta, because he has filmed instances that you won't even find on Fox News CT. For example, as Lovallo mentions in the interview, Palin got on film Bob MacGuffie of Right Principles challenging Gov. Malloy on Ct's exponentially surmounting debt at a town hall meeting in Norwalk. An instance that left Malloy grasping for words to say the least. Carefully edited out of all other news coverage of course. Palin was also there well before the Mess and other local news outlets got on the scene when hundreds of citizens were trying to register their guns before the deadlines of Public Act 13-3 were to  be enacted  in April. Palin, along with Visconti, stood with a "Mckinney Must Go Sign" along side the large crowd in the parking lot at the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection building on Country Club Lane. The media's reports of the event, which portrayed the scene as a bunch of gun nuts standing in the cold, with what Palin video interviewed several citizens at the rally and just in the area on coincidence as actually having sound opinions against the tougher restrictions being imposed.  And these several citizens are far from the unstable uneducated "gun nut" stereotype the mainstream local media has portrayed 2A supporters to be.
For the past few years, (wow! it has been years for the Insider!) Palin has been gracious enough to let us publish his Conservative Newsletter, under "Conservative Roundup", which has hundreds recipients across Connecticut who receive a list of youtube video links and conservative aligned event updates weekly complied by Palin. Dear CT GOP Party: take note of Palin's tenacity and organization, you oughta learn from this man.
As Palin signs his newsletters: I'll bring the matches..

Guestblog: Conservative Round up by Palin Smith

Below is a guest blog piece by Palin Smith, views expressed are not necessarily those of the Insider Staff.  Our belated apologies for getting this out late to Mr. Smith!

    GREETINGS PATRIOTS Jan. 7, 2014

Something amazing happened on New Year's Day. It was as if a giant incandescent light bulb lit up in so many patriots' heads. The year 2014 was set off and so were the alarm clocks of thousands of political Rip Van Winkles. In two days we received dozens of requests to be added to this publication. We spoke with at least three new people who are eager to run for state rep or state senate. We found more patriots who will form volunteer groups in some of the 133 districts currently miss-represented by Constitution-trampling gun grabbers. Two people expressed interest inprimarying Republican Royal incumbents. All in all a fabulous commencement to Election 2014.

In the next month or two we will be publishing the names and contact information for the patriot advocacy teams. If you want to participate, replyhere. We need your name and the name of your state senator. The sooner we begin to work, the sooner our influence will grow. And to remind you of the most important process that starts to occur next week, we repost this information about how to win election to your towns' RTC. All the power to select candidates resides in the Republican Town Committees.
SEE THE ATTACHMENT INCLUDED.

–------------------------------------------------

Governor Dannel Malloy set the tone for 2014 when he admonished the law-abiding gun owners to follow the new law.

–---------------------------------------------

New Year's Eve

We joined with other patriots at the Middletown Department of Public Safety building during the afternoon to observe, report and interface with the constant flow of gun owners as they arrived to meet the deadline to register magazines, weapons or to submit paperwork. We stayed until the last person at 5 PM. The following play list includes 26 separate videos. (a coincidence that there are 26 Republican gun grabbers) We interviewed a wide assortment of over 30 people. Their responses to our questions filled the spectrum of what we expected: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5wsVsNCEygqB3lwTFuAfNseJTwULXBu3

Guestblog: Conservative Round up Palin Smith

Below is a guest blog piece by Palin Smith, views expressed are not necessarily those of the Insider Staff.
 GREETINGS PATRIOTS

Now that it's got a few aggressive national leaders, the Tea Party is making a resurgence all across America. The attacks against us are merciless and nonstop because the Progressive Left is terrified of increased competition for the minds and souls of Americans. As Trevor Loudon said in Stamford last Monday, they thought they had it in the bag. http://youtu.be/xNXjyye_j9g

Chris Murphy and Richard Blumenthal, Connecticut's own US Senators, dispel the influence of the Tea Party going forward. They say it peaked in 2010. They blame it for their troubles.

Add a comment to the article.

We're asking you to prove them wrong. Have you ever seen the classic movie, SPARTACUS, starring Kirk Douglas, Tony Curtis and Lawrence Olivier? Near the conclusion, the defeated fighters from the slave army are offered life if they turn over Spartacus to the Roman general. They stand in solidarity dooming themselves to crucifixion rather than revealing their leader.

The Tea Party conservative movement stands between Socialism and Freedom in America. We will try to achieve the emotional moment to further solidify our members at a future Congressman's public forum or town hall meeting. I envision myself or another standing to make a statement about how we are tired of being vilified for protecting the Constitution.

I will look around and ask if there are Tea Party people in the crowd. We stand up in twos and threes and announce, “I am Tea Party!” Video of that moment will be our gift to the Liberty movement. We hope it may act like a shot of adrenalin in Connecticut and America. We hope others will copy the plan, which I label THE SPARTACUS TACTIC.

For this to succeed we must be a huge group in the meeting, at least 30%. We don't know when the next opportunity will arise, but we're hoping for one on a weekend. Who among you will make the trip to be part of this plan? There may be only 24 to 48 hours notice. If we succeed there will be no question that the Tea Party is alive and strong in Connecticut. In any-sized town hall meeting 50-100 would be fantastic. Please respond and we will create a special list, just as we've done with our Twitter Team of 30. This is how we stick it to Murphy.
–----------------------------------------------------------
AT Yale University at least one professor presented proof that the Tea Party Patriots are better informed in science. http://www.ijreview.com/2013/10/87474-yale-professors-surprising-discovery-tea-party-supporters-scientifically-literate/

So we global warming deniers may be right? Dread the thought Senator Murphy, who on July 19 predicted the end of the world in 87 years. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AayK4EvkK5U&feature=share&list=PL5wsVsNCEygqLUk999Rtqmsgps9YonXdx

And the Global Warming/Climate Change lemmings have been salivating for extreme weather ever since the storm that creamed New Orleans. They are “denied” every year as fewer and fewer hurricanes threaten North America. We know this lull is only temporary, and we appreciate it. The other side laments it. http://www.climatedepot.com/2013/10/18/new-study-2013-ranks-as-one-of-the-least-extreme-us-weather-years-ever-many-bad-weather-events-at-historically-low-levels/

Now tell me, who do you believe? An Al Gore wannabe or your own two eyes.
–----------------------------------------------

If the Tea Party is irrelevant as Murphy and Blumy profess, then why do they obsess about it? Here's a short list of some of the rants against our Tea Party:

–----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Republican Party should fully embrace the conservative base. In some states it does. Those are the states where Republicans win. And our enemies are so concerned that they advise the Republican Party...........

–---------------------------------------------------------------------------

SARAH PALIN is a friend who gives good advice.

TREVOR LOUDON A week ago we were very fortunate to meet a world renowned historian and expert in totalitarian regimes. New Zealand's Trevor Loudon was hosted by the Stamford/Greenwich Tea Party at the Stamford SBC Restaurant, owned and operated by Republican State Rep. Dave Rutigliano. Trevor lectured for nearly an hour and took questions for another hour. Nobody dozed off. Enjoy the new HD quality video play list. You will be fascinated by 21 video clips. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5wsVsNCEygoz54hwMyMyiK49j_hSsRwn

DAVE KOPACZ, an expert on Agenda 21was invited to speak at the Franco-American Club in North Windham last Tuesday night. Dave is the conservation officer from Ware, Massachusetts as well as a fervent Massachusetts Republican leader. Dave's specialty is PROPERTY RIGHTS. This presentation is a must for anyone who lives in Connecticut, whether you own property or not.
---------------------------------------------------------------

SCOTT WILSON the President of CCDL, the premier gun rights advocacy group in the state was invited to deliver the Keynote Speech at the 2013 Libertarian Party Convention at Cabela's in East Hartford. Connecticut's Libertarians are poised to surprise us on Election Day. Watch Norwich.
Scott spoke and then fielded questions for over an hour. Wilson is a hero to Connecticut's firearm enthusiasts and 2nd Amendment defenders. A most respected man among all grass roots constitutionalists. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5wsVsNCEygrA44ZCm-O0axgj1MQWI3mv
–-------------------------------------------------------------

LOCAL CAMPAIGNS are in the final stretch. Only two weeks before the election. Please help if you can. Don't be embarrassed to show up late. Every volunteer is cherished. If you don't know a candidate in your town, reply and we will do our best to match you up with one close by. All you learn this year will better prepare you for the epic battle in 2014 to win control of the General Assembly.

We have our favorites in New Britain, Bloomfield, Plymouth/Terryville, West Haven and Middletown. All politics is local. We are all political animals. And it's imperative to get your family and friends to vote. Make a list tonight and be sure to call them all, the day before Election Day.

DICK CHENEY must have obtained his new heart from a Tea Party Patriot. Cheney has only good things to say about the infant movement that shows precocious signs on the overpasses, in the streets and in Congress. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/oct/21/dick-cheney-calls-tea-party-boon-gop/

PS: A story out of Florida you will like.

Molly Salafia is running for Treasurer of Middletown. She has vowed to eliminated the job and forfeit her $8000 stipend if elected. How's that for a candidate to support?!!

                                  GREETINGS PATRIOTS
Let it be known! Just because we are adamantly opposed to John McKinney’s misanthropic campaign does not mean we are anti-Republican. In our travels we’ve located principled Republicans whom we’ve encouraged to join Republican Town Committees. We support many new friends, not because they are Republicans, but in spite of it.
Certain old-time politicians do not understand the modern reality, and still cling to the Flying Dutchman party, even though they would drown as it sinks. The Tea Party is the buoy - the life raft. The Tea Party Caucus in Congress has bought us time. The Constitution is the repair manual.
We keep urging people to get involved politically. If ever there was a year to start, it’s 2013. All across Connecticut we’ve witnessed a rebirth of conservative values and intelligent logic. Entrenched incumbents in both major parties are feeling heat from within their own ranks and from several insurgent groups.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Long-time Tea Party patriot Bill Heering runs strong in Plymouth’s First District. Last week Bill stirred the crowd of 100 at a Republican fundraiser attended by many Tea Party folks and some CT GOP dignitaries. Bill’s message stands on it’s own merits. His theme: ”Bring government back to the people”. http://youtu.be/2CFoHozBxTI
Join Bill’s campaign Face Book page and help him advance the cause of Liberty.

Pattie DeHuff is running a second time for Plymouth Board of Finance. She is a Sarah Palin “momma grizzly”. The good folks of Plymouth/Terryville have a gem amongst them. If only they would look closely. I caught up with Pattie at the Terryville Fair.
http://youtu.be/3v0iopKfFkk
Bill and Pattie are part of a team of Republicans.
See them all at a fundraiser a week ago.

Another of our good friends, Angel Fernandez, is on the Middletown Republican ballot running for Common Council (city council). Angel posted his name on his campaign Face Book page recently as Angel R. Fernandez. With his permission granted, I will refer to him as A.R. Fernandez, a man who will keep you feeling safe.

Everyone who wants to repair Connecticut must first start to fix its component towns and cities. Please forward these messages to your friends who feel like you.

CCDL’s own Chris Duffy just became a father for the third time. Congratulations to Heather and Chris! The Duffy Face Book campaign page invites all to join. Duffy for Alderman. https://www.facebook.com/ChristopherDuffyforNewBritain?fref=ts
New Britain is a pivotal city in the 5th Congressional District. If conservatives make a good showing locally, New Britain may help a good Republican defeat first term Democrat, Elizabeth Esty. Congressmen are always most vulnerable in their first reelection bid. Mark Greenberg is the BEST choice for 5th district Republicans. Mention his name to at least one different person every day.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This month you may have noticed groups of patriots manning highway overpasses in Connecticut and other states. “Overpasses for Obama’s Impeachment” is a national movement that is gaining momentum. There has been at least 20 protests in CT. First on Aug. 6 and then again last Saturday, Aug. 17. We are editing a video essay of all the locations from our images and from a dozen other people who participated. We sent the Aug. 6 videos last week. Here’s a few of the most recent.
And our good friend and 2009 “Frankendodd”, Flagman Bill, portrayed America’s Rodeo Clown on the Howard Ave. overpass in New Haven, one of the sites for our upcoming Aug. 30 blow out. The first couple minutes shows the place.
http://youtu.be/oez6OEiRZcU
You can join the movement anytime. The Face Book page is the switchboard. We’re planning a concentrated effort at several key locations on the Labor Day get away day, Friday, Aug. 30.

On Aug. 22 at the Windham Regional Senior Center, we got a chance to confront Rep. Joe Courtney. It’s been a very long time since we saw Joe in this venue. His office has constantly lied to us about whether he was holding public forums or where they were. When you watch the Tea Party questions you will know why.
Joe just needs some strong opposition. We would hope the 2nd district GOP would get the message. But with the brain trust of Labriola, McMahon and Simmons we doubt they will.

At the Terryville Fair yesterday we briefly encountered two of Connecticut’s wondrous representatives in Washington. When we mentioned those magic words, “climate change at the LOB” to Senator Blumenthal we were ready to ask, “how did you like that Australian fellow, but he quickly turned. If you don’t remember the July 19 encounter, here it is. Look at Murphy and Blumy when Malcolm starts to speak.

Windsor
We can have some good fun with John Larson Wednesday evening.
Bring a provocative question and follow up. We hope to see an overflow crowd.
These are the venues where we witness new patriots come of age.
Bring some friends. Larson loves victim stories.
If you have a good story you might get a tear out of him.

Guestblog: Conservative Roundup by Palin Smith

Below is a roundup of Conservative events being held this week. Complied and submitted by Palin Smith. Opinions are that of Palin Smith and do not necessarily reflect that of Insider Staff.
GREETINGS PATRIOTS
WE URGE everyone to get involved in his or her local government. It’s from the Boards and Commissions that name recognition gets started. A person might be the best man for the job, but without name recognition, the voters will ignore individuals and vote party affiliation. We realize that apathy
is inimical to improving government, especially at the state and federal level.
We suggest that you attend your town’s Board of Education meetings to find out where your property tax goes, what deals are in the works and if those in charge of the purse strings even care about your money. The town council meetings are a must. Boards of Finance, Planning and Zoning and others are also recommended.
If you are Unaffiliated, attend at least one Democrat and Republican Town Committee meeting. If you don’t like either of them, be advised that there is a rising tide among third parties. The Libertarians are putting forth an optimistic slate of candidates in 2nd district towns. The Independent Party in Waterbury regularly wins seats on boards and commissions and occasionally on the Board of Aldermen. Although the Tea Party is not a registered political party its favorites in the US House of Representatives are keeping this nation from drowning.
So we're not telling you what to do, just to do something other than remain inert. Getting active in the local elections this year will provide you with the working knowledge to help make a solid impact in the 2014 state elections. We’re focused on ejecting 133 legislators - the ones who trampled on the Constitution and infringed on our rights to protect ourselves. They are both Democrats and Republicans.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On July 6 the CT Oath Keepers and CCDL marched in the Enfield Parade. Although it was sizzling on the pavement, all the marchers from dozens of groups made it through. Even some elected officials strutted their stuff.
Yes, that is Boomer Steed at his red Jeep. If you wish to join either group, follow the links in the description.
