Last night, the Middlefield Board of Selectmen took action on behalf of local property taxpayers.
They approved a resolution calling on state lawmakers to override Gov. Malloy's veto of the bipartisan budget.
Which city or town will be next to follow Middlefield's lead?
Which city or town will be next to say "NO" to huge property tax increases which will result from Gov. Malloy's cuts?
In Cheshire, for example, homeowners could see property tax increases of $1,100 per year!
This doesn’t have to happen.
