Middletown Priest Assaulted During Easter Mass

While attending Easter Mass this morning at St. Mary of Czestochowa Catholic Church in Middletown CT, a crazy lady barged in during the gospel.  She stormed up the aisle banging her umbrella on the floor while screaming "You want to hear about justice, I'll tell you about justice ".  She made it to the altar and was standing over the priest swinging her umbrella and screaming.  By this time, a dozen parishioners had jumped up and escorted her out.  No injuries were noted.  Several parishioners watched where she went and once police arrived, they were able to detain her until mass was over.

Note: An anonymous source tells me that Middletown police were criticized for not involuntarily committing the unnamed lady, who's behavior was, to say the least, irrational.  Police allegedly did not take well to the criticism.  They never do.  Editor
