Middletown Rifle and Revolver Club - Arcade Fun Shoot!

Hello 22 LR Rim fire shooters!

Hope everyone had a good summer, It’s that time of the year for the Fun Shoot to start.

The Middletown R & R Club would like to extend an invitation to you (and bring a friend) to come and play Arcade Fun Shoot.

We are asking for a $10.00 donation to the club. 

At sign in you will buy your first Target for $5.00

The object is to shoot the highest Score with 5 shots within 1.5 minutes. The holes must be clean holes. This is a paper target shoot limited timed-fired for.  Any .22 LR caliber rim fire semi auto pistol or revolver will qualify. Open sights or optics are allowed.

Date: October 27, 2016         Sign-in Starts at 7:00 PM            We will start Shooting at 7:15 PM

Directions:

Merge onto CT-9 South toward MIDDLETOWN/OLD SAYBROOK.

Take the CT-17 S exit- EXIT 13- toward NEW HAVEN.

Take the MAIN ST EXTENSION ramp.

Turn LEFT onto MAIN ST EXT.

Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto RIDGE RD.

Turn RIGHT onto MILL ST.

Club is on the left before small Bridge.

For GPS users the approximate address for the Middletown Rifle and Revolver Club is 35 Mill Street.

Or you can use 25 Mill Street which is Marino Crane - the gun club is right next door.

         How to play: Arcade Shoot:

 We are asking for a $10.00 donation to the club.

At sign in you will buy your first Target for $5.00 (A)

Rules:

1.   There are different targets group (A, B, C,D,). Each target cost $5.00. When six (A) targets are sold that group of six will go to the shooting line and one of six will win. After all the (A) Target Groups are done, we will start the (B) Target Groups.  The (C) Target Groups then take their turn. Then D Target group will go . If there’s a tie, you will shoot a tie breaker. The object is to shoot 5 shots within 1.5 minutes to make your highest score.

2.     Payouts for every group of shooters ranging from one to six shooters. If there is only one shooter, you win your $5.00 dollars back. If six shooters are at the line, the highest score wins $30.00

3.   Any .22 LR caliber rim fire semi auto pistol or revolver will qualify.

4.   No firearms to be handled until you are at the shooting station. However, you can pre-load your magazine, limited to no more than 5 rounds in the magazine (pistol or revolver with less capacity forfeit the extra round).

5.   PLEASE BRING EYE AND EAR PROTECTION (Mandatory).

6.    You will be shooting Indoors (50 feet) with one or two hands, and no reshoots for equipment malfunctions.

7.   Range Officer will handle all disputes,

His/Her decision will be final!!! 

8.   After you shoot your target, pack up your gun.

Shooting Equipment:

1)    Ear and Eye Protection

2)      .22 caliber pistol or revolver only

3)    .22 caliber Lead Bullets (no hollow point bullets)

Shooting Directions:

Target A group 5 shots in 1.5 minutes

Target B group 5 shots in 1.5 minutes

Target C group 5 shots in 1.5 minutes

Target C group 5 shots in 1.5 minutes

Shooting Commands:     

1)   Shooters load your guns

2)    Shooters are you ready   

3)   Standby                     

4)    Start the match !!!!

5)      When the time expires, shooters will

be instructed to make guns safe and

put them away.
