Coalition of CT Sportsmen Legislative Update/Events

LEGISLATION Final PASSED :

HB-5054 AN ACT PROTECTING VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. OPPOSE Sponsored by the Governor, Rep. J. Brendan Sharkey, Speaker of the House, Rep. Joe Aresimowicz, House Majority Leader, Sen. Martin M. Looney, Senate President Pro Tem, Sen. Bob Duff, Senate Majority Leader, and Valerie Jarrett, who oversees the White House Offices of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs and who is one of Obama’s closest and most influential advisers, called Sharkey to encourage him to call the bill for a vote.  White House Advisor Urges Passage of Bill To Combat Domestic Violence  All the heavy hitters.
