December 3th: The City of Middletown Common Council meeting
will be taken up a Resolution supporting fund raising for the Greater Middletown
Military Museum, Inc. Resolution 12-11:
Approving supporting the fund raising efforts for the Museum. We are
requesting as many people as possible show at the meeting. The meeting is
at the Middletown
City Hall at 7pm.
Mayor Dan Drew has bi-passed the competitive bid process once again, planning to go with a single source modular-shed like building from Mod Systems Inc instead of a stick built and custom designed building to house the Military Museum. This could have stimulated local economy and been a chance to do justice to the collection and make a featured building on the Vet's Park Campus. Is it insulting to put the Vet's in a modular or a cost effective alternative? Voice your opinion at tonight's meeting.
