MAYOR DREW TO ATTEND MARGARET THATCHER'S FUNERAL

Since President Obama does not care to attend former British head of state Margaret Thatcher's funeral, he has elected Middletown,Connecticut  Mayor Daniel T. Drew attend in his place.

Mayor Drew visited Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro in Washington, attended the Obama Inaguration, and went to China all on behalf of Middletown's citizens.

President Obama commented on why he chose Mayor Drew: " With his frequent flyer miles, and the fact that citizen's of Middletown won't miss him since he is gone most of the time anyway, Mayor Drew is the perfect delegate."

Mayor Drew could not be reached for comment at the time of this press release, as he had already left for the day.

AND THEY DID. IT WAS ANNOUNCED TODAY ON THE NEWS THAT THE "KENNEDY HEALTH CARE BILL" WAS WRITTEN INTO THE NEW HEALTH CARE REFORM INITIATIVE ENSURING THAT THAT CONGRESS WILL BE 100% EXEMPT !
SO, THIS GREAT NEW HEALTH CARE PLAN THAT IS GOOD FOR YOU AND I... IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR OBAMA, HIS FAMILY OR CONGRESS...??

Dear Employees:

As the CEO of this organization, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our President and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way. To compensate for these increases, our prices would have to increase by about 10%. But, since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off sixty of our employees instead.
This has really been bothering me since I believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who would have to go. So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lots and found sixty 'Obama' bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the ones to let go.
I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. They voted for change... I gave it to them.I will see the rest of you at the annual company picnic.

Join Senator Suzio for $1.87 Gas Thursday

Currently CT's state gas tax is 47 cents per gallon. The gross receipts tax that is 7.5% on the is in addition to the state flat tax of 25 cents on each gallon of gasoline.

The Connecticut chapter of the national group Americans for Prosperity is holding “a gas rollback event,” Thursday October 17, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Danby’s Gulf Express on E. Main Street.

American's for Prosperity ties the price per gallon is tied to the level of gas prices before President Barack Obama took office.
          13th District State Sen. Len Suzio is attending an event sponsored by American's for Prosperity Thursday October 18th in Meriden to make a statement about the state's rising gas prices. Suzio has lead the charge in the state to reduce the state’s gas taxes. This was voted down by Democrats earlier this year. Customers will be able to purchase up to 15 gallons of gas at a reduced $1.84 price for a 2 hour period at the gas station.

     JR Romano, the CT Director for American's for Prosperity stated in a press release earlier this week: “We are pleased to provide this opportunity for hard working CT residents to see some much-needed relief at the pump. The rise in the price of gasoline is just one example of how President Obama and Congressman Chris Murphy’s out-of-control tax and spend policies are hurting CT families.”

Suzio is running for re-election in the 13th District which represents parts of Middletown, Meriden, and Middlefield.
