Earth Day Events This Weekend

Friends and Neighbors, 

If you want to help keep our community clean, here are a few local Earth Day cleanup events in the area on Saturday, April 21st & Sunday, April 22nd.


Please consider joining other members of the community on Saturday:


Baltic
Earth Day Cleanup : From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Grist Mill, 76 Main Street

Hampton
Earth Day Trail and Property Cleanup : From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 at Ostby Memorial Forest, East Old Route 6. Volunteers will help clean up branches and brush left over from serval heavy snowfalls on the hiking trails and forest preserve. Registration is requested by emailing bill@tlgv.org.

Norwich
Earth Day Crafts : From 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Otis Library, 261 Main Street. The craft is appropriate for all ages.

 Please consider joining other members of the community on Sunday:

Norwich
Park Cleanup : From noon until 4:00 p.m., Mohegan Park Center, 75 Mohegan Road. Attendees will be able to choose the areas of the park they want to help clean. Please bring rakes, brooms, and gloves.
