Capt. Paul Whitescarver, CO Naval Submarine Base, New London Keynote Speaker at Middlesex Chamber of Commerce’ Support the Troops Member Breakfast on Nov. 7

Captain Paul Whitescarver, Commanding Officer Naval Submarine Base New London will serve as keynote speaker at the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce’ Support the Troops and Honor the Veterans Member Breakfast on November 7.


(Middletown, CT.)  Chairman Gregory Shook of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce announced that the chamber’s 15th Annual Support the Troops and Honor the Veterans Member Breakfast Meeting will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016. Captain Paul Whitescarver, Commanding Officer Naval Submarine Base New London will serve as keynote speaker.
                                                               
The Member Breakfast Meeting, sponsored by Middlesex Hospital, will be held at the Radisson Hotel Cromwell, 100 Berlin Road, Cromwell, with networking beginning at 7:00 A.M., breakfast buffet opens at 7:30 A.M., and the meeting program, 8:00 to 9:00 A.M.  Cost is $22.00. The Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce William J. Pomfret Veteran Community Service Award will be presented to Lawrence “Larry” Riley of Middletown at the Member Breakfast Meeting. The William J. Pomfret Veteran Community Service Award is presented annually to a Veteran of the United States Armed Forces, in recognition of his or her distinguished service to the citizens of Connecticut and selfless commitment to public service.

Chamber President Larry McHugh noted, “We are excited to welcome Captain Paul Whitescarver to Middlesex County and look forward to his keynote remarks. We are also very proud of our 2016 William J. Pomfret Veteran Community Service Award recipient, Lawrence “Larry” Riley, and look forward to honoring him at the event.”
