Jazz Up Close
featuring Steve Wilson, saxophone

Resonant Motion, Inc. presents alto and soprano saxophonist Steve Wilson in a trio with bassist Henry Lugo and pianist/series curator Noah Baerman.  
Mr. Wilson is an indispensable part of the New York City jazz scene, an important contributor to the bands of Chick Corea, Maria Schneider, Christian McBride, Buster Williams, Ralph Peterson and Dave Holland, and as a bandleader in a live recording from the fabled Village Vanguard with his quartet, Wilsonian Grain. 
Mr. Wilson serves on the faculties of CCNY and the Juilliard School.

Mindfulness Meditation

David Chandler, M.S., in Integrative Health and Healing, will teach a one-hour workshop on mindfulness: focusing on the present moment and acceptance, without judgment. No previous experience is necessary. 
All are welcome at this drop-in program; repeats on September 20.

EXHIBITS
Middletown High School Murals


Beginning in 2009, senior class art students have embarked each year on a long term group project: producing a mural for the new school's corridors that would serve as a legacy to their graduating class. 

The Class of 2016 mural and the recently completed Class of 2014 mural will be shown in the library's main lobby through the end of September. Both were completed under the guidance of art teacher Patrick Shugrue.
