Dear Friends of the Connecticut Trees of Honor Memorial, This message is being sent to you because of your past support of the
memorial project in Middletown, CT. Whether it was the generous
donation of your time, professional talents or monetary donations, you
have proven that you know the healing power and rewarding feeling of
giving back.
We are nearing the final stages of construction of this serene and
inviting statewide memorial tribute and earnestly preparing for the
September 17, 2016 dedication to honor 65 Heroes from Connecticut who
made the ultimate sacrifice in the War on Terror and to all Veterans who
served domestically or in foreign lands.
It will truly be a special day of honoring, remembering and
celebrating and we will be welcoming people from across the state and
country.
Due to dwindling funds, we are not able to complete all original
design plans for the Memorial at this time, despite our best efforts.
Also, we are required to build and maintain a cash balance per our
agreement with the City of Middletown to properly care for the trees,
monuments and other elements of the Memorial and to allow for
replacements or repairs. In so many words, we still need your support!
Would you be willing to make a donation today? Any amount is
welcome! If you wish to donate, please make your one-time online
payment at www.cttreesofhonor.com/donate or checks can be made payable to CTHM, Inc. and mailed to the address shown below.
Thank you for taking the time to read this message and for your interest
and support of the CT Trees of Honor Memorial in Veterans Memorial Park
in Middletown, CT. We hope to see you on Dedication Day! If you have
any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Warm regards,
Diane DeLuzio (Blue and Gold Star Mother)
