Nancy Reagan is reported to have passed away, today at the
age of 94. After a ten year struggle with Alzheimer’s, Mrs. Reagan died
at home from congestive heart failure, reported a family spokesman.
From 1981 to 1989, Mrs. Reagan was the First Lady,
married to then President Ronald Reagan. They were married in 1952;
the marriage lasting 52 years, until the death of President Reagan in 2004.
Nancy was born in 1921 as
Anne Frances Robbins and given the inexplicable nick name of Nancy, soon after. Later, she adopted
the screen name "Nancy Davis".
Her mother was actress Edith Luckett, her father a car salesman, Kenneth
Robbins.
Our condolences go out to the Reagan family.
