One of the most shameful chapters in recent American history is the manner in which our Vietnam veterans were ignored and abused after their service and sacrifice. In 2010 the General Assembly passed a law designating a day to give our Vietnam veterans the welcome home they earned, but never received.

The original sponsor of the legislation, former State Representative and Vietnam veteran Ted Graziani, will host the event. Veterans and family will tell their stories, and state leaders will offer thanks.

The event will last one hour.
