Rep. Lesser to Host Foreclosure Prevention Clinic at Russell Library

Dear Friends and Neighbors, I will be hosting a Foreclosure Prevention Clinic on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm at Russel Library, 123 Broad Street, in Middletown.   The free clinic is open to any Connecticut homeowner facing foreclosure and no pre-registration is required. The clinic will offer information about court and the state’s Foreclosure Mediation Program from the Connecticut Fair Housing Center, loan workouts from HUD/CHFA-certified housing counselors at Catholic Charities, and resources for homeowners facing foreclosure from the Connecticut Department of Banking. I encourage all those homeowners that may be struggling with deciding what to do next to attend this helpful and informative session.
