From the Office of Len Suzio Victim Advocate:State Senator Joe Markley has filed a Freedom of Information Act complaint because he has not gotten cooperation from the Department of Correction regarding information about prisoners released under the Early Release program. This is a blatant cover up of the dangerously flawed Early Release Program and the crimes committed by hardened criminals recklessly released under the Program to prey upon the public.
We will keep you informed about new information as it develops. If the Malloy Administration thinks I've gone away, they've got another thing coming. We are not going to rest until this dangerous law is rescinded or changed to remove violent criminals from eligibility.
