Home Grown Charity Artists for World Peace Lasagna Dinner

The historic Middletown Almshouse hosts an all-you-can-eat lasagna dinner is Sunday at 3 p.m. at 53 Warwick Street, Middletown. Call (860) 346-7588 or go to artistsforworldpeace.org for information.
Artists For World Peace has several humanitarian projects going on around the world, including Children of Peace, which pays living and educational expenses for 13 children in China, Haiti, India and Tanzania; a Safe House for Women and Children in Cambodia; Community Health Center in Kibosho Umbwe and Maize-Grinding Machines in Tanzania. 

The fcharitable organization was founded by Middletown resident Wendy Black Nasta. The lasagna event is free with donations accepted going towards Artists for World Peace charity.
