(Sources) MSN & Today Show: Adam Lanza

An AR-15, or the so-called "Assault Weapon", was not used in the school shooting. The shooter even tried weeks (December 11, 2013) earlier to buy a rifle but was turned down in the background check. So he had to kill his Mother to steal her rifle. There were initial reports, right after the shooting, that pol...ice found the AR-15 in his car, NOT IN THE SCHOOL. The rifle was not used. The shooter went into the school with 4 handguns, NOT an Assault Rifle as the media has charged. I remember in the initial hours of this shooting, the Police said they found the rifle in the car. But the Administration-controlled MSM had a pre-planned attack already waiting, to ban so-called assault weapons and jumped on that line of reporting, knowing it was a lie, which included people like Piers Morgan who said the shooter used an AR-15 that shoots hundreds of rounds per minute, as if it were a machine gun. Could it be that the Democrat Liberals and THEIR MEDIA were pushing for the new law, hoping they could do it, before the Coroner released the info? Absolutely.

Sometimes we post articles like this for discussion purposes, not necessarily because it is our belief- The point? To prove that the degree of scrutiny readers apply has a lot to do with the source- MSN initially generated this theory yet are not being judged so severely like other sources- another point of discussion.

this article is saying that there was a rifle left in the trunk of the car but that all of victims were killed with an assault rifle - that the MSN report was prior to the report by the medical examiner.

PLEASE come to your senses.

You have a choice. If you leave this post up you are destroying all credibility you have left in this community.

The news story you post was a day after (the incident) and was retracted by all the networks because it was proven FALSE.

News networks get things wrong all the time. I remember someone from the Howard Stern Show convincing the news that a subway shooter yelled "BaBa Booyie" over and over.

Insider... get your head together. Are you really going to jump on the 'conspiracy' bandwagon?

Think, and good luck.

Who ever posts this (S**t) should be removed from your posting list cause this ruins the MI reputation.

The AR-15 is not an assault weapon. It is a weapon that is easily used by men and women. It has little recoil that is why many use them in self defense, hunting and target shooting.
My issue is with the politicians who are screaming about this weapon and others but they let people out early for using these weapons in a criminal act. I hope people are smart enough to see these hypocrisy.

It is very nice that you admit that you knowingly post false claims for the purpose of "stimulating discussion". Unfortunately you only rarely admit that you are making stuff up.

The point was discussion on the phenomenon of the false reporting by a liberal media outlet vs a conservative one and in such an erroneous way. Fox messes up, people cry fowl, MSNBC messes up- and gets a pass. The fact that liberal lawmakers are exploiting the tragedy after the fact to restrict the 2nd Amendment is factual. We never suggested we find any credibility to the conspiracy theories that this tragedy was a manufactured event to push through an agenda; that is preposterous. But is the crazy theory out there? Yes. Are we to be chastised for pointing it out? Do you see fault with other media outlets say for reporting drunk driving crashes and not issuing a disclaimer against drunk driving at the top of the article as well?
Please don't condemn the messenger.
Sadly, our blog posts about Middletown politics are not fictional and these things are really happening and you are quite mistaken if you believe they are not.

They are definitely true!

Here is a video I made last week with two former Middletown Police officers talking about the importance of the 2nd Amendment.
