The tree lighting took place on the South Green. The newly purchased lights have filled in dark spots quite nicely. The tree will be lite every evening through the holidays. Middletown High's Marching band lead the festivities with a parade.

Holiday Bazaar at Wadsworth Mansion

The Wadsworth Mansion at Long Hill Estate is hosting their annual
Holiday Bazaar on Sunday December 8, 2013 from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at
421 Wadsworth Street
. Children are free and a $2.00 donation for adults would be appreciated
but, not expected. Door donations will be dedicated to conservation
projects at the Mansion.
Holiday on Main Street
Middletown's
28th Annual Holiday On Main Street, (sponsored by the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce) will kickoff on Friday, November 29,
2013 from 4:00 to 8:15 p.m.. There will be four tree lightings and a
parade. Then Holiday on Main will be held on the following three
Saturdays: November 30, December 7 and December 14.
