Co-Chair of the Committee on Children Says Working Families Will Benefit
Sen. Len Suzio today applauded the governor’s announcement that
the
state’s Care 4 Kids program has been reopened and eligible families on
the wait list can now begin to enroll for the state’s primary child care
support.
“This is welcome news for thousands of working families throughout the state,” said
Sen. Suzio, who is the Co-Chair of the Committee on Children in the Connecticut General Assembly. “Care 4 Kids is a quality program which provides a safe setting
for children while their parents are at work.”
The
governor’s office announced that families who registered on the wait
list will begin to receive requests to apply in phases starting
today.
