Proposed H.B. No. 6636 REP. DUBITSKY, 47th DIST.; REP. BOYD, 50th DIST. 'AN ACT CONCERNING PERMIT AND CERTIFICATE TO CARRY A FIREARM RECIPROCITY', to secure permit or certificate reciprocity between Connecticut and other states that have substantially similar standards for carrying a concealed firearm.

Proposed H.B. No. 6644 REP. FISHBEIN, 90th DIST. 'AN ACT CONCERNING THE THRESHOLD DATE FOR CONVICTIONS FOR POSSESSION OF SMALL AMOUNTS OF MARIJUANA AS A DISQUALIFIER FOR A PISTOL PERMIT', to change in the pistol permit section the threshold date of conviction for possession of small amounts of marijuana from October 1, 1994, to October 1, 2015, to conform with the effective date for changes made to the drug possession statute.

Proposed H.B. No. 6690 REP. DAUPHINAIS, 44th DIST. 'AN ACT ALLOWING EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES PROVIDERS TO CARRY A FIREARM', to allow emergency medical services providers to carry a firearm if they have a permit.

Proposed H.B. No. 6694 REP. SREDZINSKI, 112th DIST. 'AN ACT REQUIRING A CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORDS CHECK FOR PERSONS WHO ENROLL IN A CLASS FOR CERTIFICATION AS EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES PERSONNEL', to require a criminal history records check for persons who enroll in a class for certification as emergency medical services personnel.
