ct-capitol-buildingRE-ELECT SENATOR JOHN A KISSEL

VOTE! Tuesday, Nov. 8. - On Tuesday, Americans will head to the polls in one of the most important elections in our country’s history.VOTE!

Dear Editor:
This letter is to overwhelming SUPPORT State Senator John A. Kissel for re-election and rate him as an A+. He is also rated A Endorsed by the National Rifle Association. Senator Kissel is currently serving his 12th term representing Connecticut’s 7th Senatorial District, which presently includes East Granby, Enfield, Somers, Suffield, Windsor Locks and portions of Granby and Windsor.

Senator Kissel has impeccable integrity, is an avid researcher on all issues, exhibits a rational debate technique, and, most important, exercises common–sense. During his tenure he has always been a stalwart supporter of Sportsmen’s positions.Based upon these standards, the Coalition of Connecticut Sportsmen considers him an exemplary legislator, clearly worthy of re-election, and a positive benefit to the State.

Sen. Kissel is the Senate’s Ranking Member on the Judiciary Committee, which has cognizance of matters relating to the Department of Correction, courts, judicial procedures, and criminal law including firearms. As Chief Deputy Minority Leader, Sen. Kissel serves as ranking Republican on the Program Review and Investigations Committee, which examines the effectiveness of state government programs. He will serve on the Appropriations Committee, which oversees state government spending. Senator Kissel also serves on the General Law and Legislative Management Committees. The General Law Committee has cognizance of all matters relating to the Department of Consumer Protection, and the Legislative Management Committee conducts the business affairs of the Connecticut General Assembly. Sen. Kissel has received numerous awards from a broad spectrum of organizations.
Sen. Kissel's opponent,  Annie Hornish is rated a ? by NRA (indicating no return of questionnaire) and by CCS  F. "Before becoming The Humane Societyof the United States's state director for Connecticut, Hornish was a state representative for Connecticut's 62nd District (2009-10), where she passed stronger laws governing puppy mills, pet trusts, pet tethering, keeping of exotic pets, and internet hunting". She now works as a CT lobbyist for HSUS to fight all kinds of "cruelty to animals" including all forms of wildlife conservation (wise use and management of natural resources) supported by the professionals at CT DEEP and sportsmen.
We urge all voters to strongly support Senator Kissel’s re-election to the State Senate  representing Connecticut’s 7th Senatorial District, which includes East Granby, Enfield, Somers, Suffield, Windsor Locks and portions of Granby and Windsor.
