We've demanded answers from Senator Blumenthal and the media is
taking notice.
Whether it's about Democrats fundraising off the terror attack
in Orlando, Governor Malloy using his position to skirt
airport security, or serious questions on policy decisions and inaction - we
are demanding answers and the media is starting to follow through.
Senator Blumenthal thought he was going to walk into another
term in Washington without being held to account, we have a different
plan.
When the reports surfaced of $400 million being paid to Iran in
exchange for US hostages, we demanded answers and the media followed suit:
Initially Senator Blumenthal said 'No comment' during his press
conference on airport security...
We followed up demanding answers:
Asked again at his press conference on energy, Senator Blumenthal
said he'd be asking tough questions of the Obama Administration...
Again we followed up demanding answers when the State Department
admitted the $400 million was paid to Iran to release the hostages.
Just this weekend Senator Blumenthal finally admitted the United
States should never pay a ransom, but said he wouldn't 'pre-judge', mustering up
enough courage to say he's going to 'ask the tough questions' of the Obama
Administration...
I am in this race to show the people of Connecticut who Dick
Blumenthal really is, but I need your help!
Help us today if you believe it's time to elect a Senator who
won't hide behind consumer protection issues and will hold Washington elites
accountable.
