A Message from State Representative Matt Lesser

Dear Friends,

I want you to know about a new program designed to ease the burden of student loan debt, thanks to the Connecticut Higher Education Supplemental Loan Authority's Refi CT pilot program.  Refi CT has more than $5,000,000 to lend at rates as low as 4.25%!
Refi CT is the result of perhaps the most important legislation I’ve worked on in.  The ability to refinance student loans is critical to reducing debt for Connecticut families.  For many, the crushing burden of student debt makes it harder to buy a house or start a business, and even eats into retirement savings.  The opportunity to refinance student loans will make Connecticut more attractive to young professionals and a more competitive state.

If students loans are holding you down, please consider taking advantage of Refi CT by logging on to the CHESLA website.  It will be time well spent.
Sincerely,

Matthew Lesser

  1. The democrats and Lesser are so out of touch with reality that it boggles the mind..

What good is this when the state doesn't have business for these people to work, or the state has to overtax these "out of debt" families because of the gross mismanagement of this administration. make the state healthy and stop throwing our money away and the rest will sort itself out. So many of these kids take on this debt by earning degrees in STUPID subjects and then can't find jobs. But in it's infinite wisdom, there is NO REQUIREMENT for the type of degree, we'll just throw out money at anything.. Ct. has the most highly educated burger flippers in the world, and our majority legislators are the reason.
