Taxpayers
were able to ask Carpino and Linares about the recently completed
session of the Connecticut General Assembly and discuss ideas on
how to improve the quality of life in Connecticut. The lawmakers
backed an alternative no-tax-hike budget which called for property tax
relief and which restored the governor’s funding cuts to town aid.
Carpino and Linares also supported the restoration
of funding cuts the governor made to vital services for seniors, the
disabled, and children.
Those who could not attend may contact the legislators at any time.
Carpino can be reached at 800 842-1423 and
