From last October.
As you may know, police are not allowed to be at the polls unless there is an incident that requires the presence of a law enforcement officer. And as you also know, when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.
Please consider introducing a bill that would allow poll workers, including runners and observers, who have pistol permits to be armed while they are on duty.
Very truly yours,

Dear Representatives and Senators,
I'm
an election moderator and am concerned about the safety of my staff and
the voters who enter my poll. Most polls are located in schools, which
are "gun free" zones.
As
you know, most of the mass shootings that take place, happen in such
places. What better target could a terrorist or a mentally ill person
bent on destruction choose to commit their mayhem?
Recent events have shown us just how effective these "gun free" zones are, when it comes to protecting innocent people's lives. http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2014/10/11/report-92-percent-of-mass-shootings-since-2009-occured-in-gun-free-zones/
