Letter to the Editor:
I have gotten to know Sandra Russo-Driska over the past several years. Since announcing she was running for Mayor of the City of Middletown, Sandra and I have spent time together at numerous fundraising and community events because my son is running for Council in Meriden.
While I personally reside in Meriden, Carabetta Enterprises is the 6th largest taxpayer in Middletown, with several properties there and we are proud to do business in Middletown. It is because of this business relationship that it is imperative that Middletown elect a leader that can deliver on the promise to do what is necessary to hold the line on spending and control taxes.
I believe, as does the entire Carabetta family, that Sandra is the person for the job! A lifelong resident, who dedicated her entire career to the service of the residents of Middletown she also served Town Clerk for almost two decades. You certainly cannot question her dedication, experience, and ability to do the job of mayor.
It is with pleasure that on behalf of my family, we endorse Sandra Russo-Driska for Mayor of the City of Middletown. We hope that all Middletown residents will cast their vote on November 3rd for the right choice! Vote for Sandra.
