“And Justice For All” is a newsletter involving my opinions, views, and commentary as a life long Middletown resident. In my capacity as a former employee of Middletown (retired) for over 41 years, I have a different perspective regarding how and why public figures do what they do."

Republican Council candidate Nick Fazzino put on a great dance last night, Saturday,

November 2nd, at the Son’s of Italy hall on Court Street. Nick, once one of Connecticut’s best DJ’s back in the day, still hasn’t lost his touch. Even though he is running as a

Common Council candidate, the event was touted as being “for everyone just to have a good time dancing, eating, and catching up with old friends you may not have seen for a while.”

Well, that really happened. There was a full house at the event; over 300 in attendance. The age group ran the gamut from 20’s, to let’s just say mature. There were Republicans, Democrats, Unaffiliated, and non-voters sharing tables, conversation, and the dance floor.
Everyone was up and dancing, mingling with people they haven’t seen for a while, and catching up on life. They truly were having a fun time. It was a great success for the community.

I was told the only disappointing thing that happened was several friends of the organizer, who were going to attend, didn’t. They told Nick Fazzino they had been approached by Councilman Thomas Serra (Nick’s very own cousin), and a protégé, telling them if they attended the event, sponsored by a Republican candidate, it wouldn’t go over well with him and the Democrats. These friends also informed Nick they were told “not to forget who has and can take care of you”. I’ve known Nick for many years, and one thing he is not is a liar.

First of all, shame on those individuals who allowed themselves and spouses to be bullied by a couple of impotent minded people who think they can control peoples lives - who
heir friends are - and where they can go. Secondly, who do these two bullies think they are? I guess these two jerks choose their friends and family by political Party first?

These individuals can keep on lying to everyone about what great people they are, continue having their names submitted to organizations to be honored for being such great human beings, and have their names put on a couple of more plaques throughout the City.

The truth is there are many people out there that really and truly know what they are about, and what a phony perception they portray to the community. Remember friends, Karma can be a bitch sometimes.

Stay strong. Stay involved. Stay together. Seek the truth.

  1. Does John really think DD would stop by his house? For what purpose? So he can confront him under the guise of wanting information that he's just going to twist anyway?

Listen, DD got rid of John and Debbie. John doesn't like him because DD didn't let him and Debbie manipulate him like they did the last mayor. We get it. If I were DD I wouldn't go to his house either. If John was so interested in the issues, he can always go to a council meeting or make an appointment to see the mayor.

  2. Anonymous 7:13 PM,
Of course I didn't think he would stop by...it was tongue and cheek. Why didn't he stop by the neighbors house?
You're just the type of people Dan wants....little sheep following to be slaughtered.
