South Fire Gets New Chief: Robert Ross

South Fire announced today former fire chief Robert Ross will become the new fire chief starting June 24th. Since November 2011, Ross has held the title of state fire marshal. He had previous been a chief with in the City of Middletown and retired from that position. Ross replaces the position vacated by Edward Badamo, when the Fire Commission denied his contract renewal.  Ross had left the position of South Fire Chief to work for the state in November of 2007.

  1. Will he now be working on vesting in his 4th government defined benefit pension plan? I wonder if he already draws more in Government pensions than the Democratic majority leader.
