Police News: Middletown Officer Promoted, Tournament Scheduled

Earlier in the week Officer Michael DeSena, 37 of Bristol was promoted to Lieutenant within the Middletown Police Department. DeSena joined the  after previous employment with the police departments of Bristol and Cantebury according to a 2003 Hartford Courant article.  Officers Daniel Smith and  Richard Davis received promotions in April. By our research, since mid 2011, the Middletown Police Dept. has hired 6 new officers.   Congratulations to all the officers!
