CCDL Member Update and Anniversary Dinner, Ticket Purchase Deadline is February 7th

CCDL Blog

In past years, CCDL has been able to sell tickets right up to the start of the event. This year we cannot sell tickets online after 11:59pm on February 7th. We also cannot sell physical tickets or add anyone to “Will Call”.

We must provide an exact headcount to the venue at the start of the next morning.

We hope you can join us and want to make sure that you and your friends do not miss this deadline.

Come celebrate our anniversary at the 9th Annual CCDL dinner, being held this coming Saturday, February 10th, at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville. Relax and hang out with fellow members, enjoy a meal, and share a well-deserved night out.

Price is $57 per person, and you must show your ticket at the door to gain entry.

Dinner will be buffet style, salad and cheese tables are on the menu as well. This event is 4-9pm, with dinner to start at 5:30. We will have some speakers, but not TOO many!

The Aqua Turf is located at 556 Mulberry st, Plantsville CT, 06479. Phone number is 860-621-9335.

You can buy your tickets through our online store and they will be held at the "will call" for you.

2018 Legislative Session
Connecticut Legislative Session Begins February 7th, Ends May 9th
2018 is an even-numbered year, which means that the legislative session is a short one. Right now, we know that two of the main initiatives of anti-gun politicians are a bumpstock ban, and a ban on building your own firearms. While most gun owners do not own bumpstocks, the language being used by governor Malloy is broad enough to include competition triggers and other ordinary mechanical components that help operate simple trigger functions of many firearms. Even if you do not personally care about bumpstocks or machining your own firearm, Connecticut gun owners must stand together and oppose any more restrictions on our 2nd Amendment rights.
