Yankee Tea News - Greenwich Water Ban

Greenwich CT, along with some other towns implemented a water ban last summer in 2016.  The Stamford Advocate reported on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 that, Quote; "some officials in Stamford and Greenwich are questioning whether the water company delayed declaring an emergency in the name of profits.

Stamford Rep. John Zelinsky called for an investigation into Aquarion’s response to the drought on Tuesday. He said he wanted representatives from the company to appear before the city’s Public Safety and Health Committee to answer why it took so long to declare an emergency when water levels had been low for months."  We hope to find out what the truth of the matter is and get to the bottom of it.

Thanks to YTN and our friend, Cort Wrotnowski for bringing this rediculous situation to light.
