Linares Addresses “Youth Services Bureau Day”

Sen Art Linares (at table, second from right) on Apr. 21 joined with other state lawmakers to address attendees at “Youth Services Bureau Day at the State Capitol”. 

Residents from Clinton, Portland, Lyme and many other towns attended the event, which highlighted how Youth Services Bureaus help and empower young people to become responsible adults and contributing members of society. On the web:  www.ctyouthservices.org.

At the State Capitol, Linares co-chairs the bipartisan Young Legislators Caucus. The panel discusses issues and policies which impact younger Connecticut residents’ quality of life, including job creation, housing, the environment, public safety and higher education.

Linares (www.senatorlinares.com) represents Chester, Clinton, Colchester, Deep River, East Haddam, East Hampton, Essex, Haddam, Lyme, Old Saybrook, Portland and Westbrook.
