In this update, Sen. Markley talks about executive nominations for judges, commissioners for agencies, etc. There are negotiations between the legislative leadership and the governor concerning the dire budget situation, which promises to be a problem for a long time to come. The Republicans put forth a budget alternative. Opposition to the "Walmart" bill is running along party lines. Sen. Markley explains that this type of bill discourages economic growth.
