Saturday local Middletown Kiwanis held their annual Kids Health & Safety Day in front of MPD today from 11 to 3pm. Kiwanis set up a Bike Rodeo & Bike Safety station. Participants received a free a safety inspection of their child's bike courtesy of Pedal Power. Children were treated to a helmet fitting and give away until they last courtesy of NorthStar Investment. Local Police Officers Liseo and Rowland were on hand to guide bikers. Kiwanis does a variety of charitable events throughout the year that benefit local needs. Their largest is the Warm the Children Campaign.
