CLINIC The St. Sebastian Parish Nurse
Ministry & Middlesex Hospital Home Care will sponsor a
Flu Clinic on Thursday, September 27th from 9:00 – 11:00 AM
in St. Sebastian Church Hall for all ages. Pneumonia vaccine
will be available for those eligible. All insurances
accepted. Non-insured will also be able to receive the
vaccine at this time. Please mark your calendar so you don’t
forget this important date.
October 6th : NEAT meet the candidates night, Green Street Arts Center- meet all state representative and senatorial candidates in person in an informal session.

John School Annual Golf Tournament: Middletown's St. John
School will hold their 8th
Annual Golf Tournament on Thursday, October 4th, at Lyman
Orchard’s Golf Course. The event starts at 9:00 AM. Anyone

October 6th: Family
Style Italian Dinner St. Francis of Assisi
Church in Middletown will be hosting a
family-style Italian Dinner on Oct. 6th at 6:00 p.m. to
celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. Tickets can be
purchased by calling Susan Gombotz at (860) 346-1870. The
cost is adult - $15, Children over 10 - $5, Children under
10 - $2

October 13th: Knights of Columbus “Double
Star” Dinner Dance: Knights of Columbus Freestone Council
7 of Portland Annual Dinner Dance, the Elks
Club in Middletown, Saturday, October 13th. The event will
feature live music, exciting raffles, and a renowned
caterer, our own excellent Farrell’s of Portland. St. John's
School will receive 50% of the money raised in the KoC’s

October 13th: “Called to
Protect”: On Saturday October 13th at 10:00
a.m. “Called to Protect” will be presented at St. Pius X
Church, in Middletown. The workshop is a video-based
educational program designed to keep children and families,
ministers, employees, volunteers, parishes and diocese, and
youth ministries safe from child sexual abuse. If you are in
a ministry with direct contact to our children and have not
attended a session as of yet, you are required to attend a
‘Called to Protect” workshop. Families are also encouraged
to attend a session. Please call 860-347-4441 as soon as
possible to register.
