Rite of Spring? Streaking WesU Man Tased and Arrested

A naked 20-year-old Wesleyan University student, so high and combative on psychedelic mushrooms he had to be Tased twice, led officers on a chase near campus after terrifying a 10-year-old girl at her home, Middletown Police report.
On April 14 at 5:45 p.m., police were called to a home in the 200 block of Cross Street on the report that a man, later identified as Max J. Shafer-Landau, 20, of Church Street, had tried to get into the house through the back door, according to the arrest report.

  1. Still, this is pretty nuts- just exposing yourself to a child, nevermind not "doing" anything-
    WHY was this MAN a grown adult not charged with public lewdness, indecent exposure at the very least never mind risk of injury to a minor?? In other places, this alone would garner sex offender status for life!

    The Insider hopes he is expelled.
    Thank goodness that back door was locked!!. Streak - well fine, on your own private property, involve a child- not ok!
    Police & City officials: please protect our neighborhoods-! Wesleyan owes Middletown an apology on behalf of this student. Sheesh
